Wanted: Junior Choir Director and Mezzo-Soprano Soloist/Choral Lead (a combined position): Royal York Road United Church, Toronto is accepting applications for a ten month contract (Sept 2014 – June 2015). Responsibilities to include teaching and directing the Junior Choir cooperatively with the Director of Music, for two 12 week terms (fall and winter) as well as providing choral leadership in the Senior Choir from Sept – June. Ideally this position would be suited to someone interested in music education. The candidate would demonstrate the ability to work with and teach children, sing solo literature, sight read well and lead chorally. The candidate will also need to provide a current police check.
